The Springfield Yellow Bike Blog is the official website of the Springfield Yellow Bike Project. The Yellow Bike Project is a community-run effort to cut down on traffic, pollution, poverty, and crime. And we’re going to do it by giving away free bicycles!
Well, not quite free. The idea is that anybody who wants to can take a bicycle, and ride it where ever they need to go. Then, when somebody else needs a bike, they will be able to use that same bike to get where they need to go. It’s amazing!
And even more amazing still is the fact that we're going to keep a blog about it, right here for you to read! Woo!
